I have been toying with this idea for a while:
Painting the 12 gold saints from Saint Seiya, in a Rembrandt-esque way, as if a painter had been requested to make 12 portraits of the elite Sanctuary Saints.
I have a full time job right now so I can´t paint them in photoshop with the level of detail I´d like, but I did manage to draw them traditionally and then paint them over quickly in Photoshop.

This one is Gemini Saga, the false Pope, holding the dagger that ultimately kills Athena. And caressing what his evil side craved most, POWER.
Hopefuly I conveyed some emotion on his face, I aimed for conflict, but you decide what he´s thinking.

Maybe he just wants some tacos.
